Too many artists have tainted the waters and made it hard for people to trust us. It really isn't that hard to run an art business like a decent person. Stop giving people reasons not to want to commission artists anymore!

As your artist, I promise to: 1. Never trace existing work 2. Never use AI 3. Never ghost you 4. Always keep in contact, and update you when progress is made 5. Never spend your commission until delivery of piece 6. Always provide a refund if I am unable to complete your piece

Just as a general note as the issue has been a topic as of late; Many artists don't like to work with shaded ref sheets because the shadow can look like a marking or a gradient in the color. Shaded ref sheets look cool, but please have an unshaded version available just in case.

So I had someone want to commission me, but only saw the "base price", so when I told them with all the addons it would be $300, they responded as though it was too much. Is $300 for something like this too high? Shaded, two characters with a simple background.
