Finally watched the new episode, is it crazy to say that this was easily like the best episode from the season? Mostly because of the lack of political commentary, even the Trump and JD plot barely had any since they’re more focused on the plot at this point. Refreshing.

If you look into where the company is based out of, it’s a bit coincidental. Not to say this is a grand conspiracy, but I dont think it’s something that should be overlooked either. Especially since both slushhh and I only had our videos removed about that specific episode.

I’m currently disputing this strike, but this is concerning because this kind of technology could very easily lead to sweeping false strikes across the platform for content that clearly constitutes fair use, or even censorship-

I received a copyright strike from my video about South Park’s Israel episode, 2 more of those and my channel is terminated. Slushhh received a strike on his video ab the same episode. The company that did it, Videocites, is an AI anti-piracy company. More in the 🧵

I don’t think most people truly grasp why AI is bad for art, even if it can ever make a decent product. Like why don’t we just replace all athletes with robots who can break world records every time they play, that should be just as entertaining as humans doing it, right?

This is what I mean when I say AI is a tool and not inherently bad. It can be incredibly useful in assisting with certain tasks. It should never be used to replace human creativity though.
