Notice how MW3 is all about removing whatever garbage Infinity Ward added to MW2. They're reversing every decision from that game
After testing the update, I can say that the mouse feels much better, especially in tracking moments both in hipfire and aiming. I also notice that with a snappier hipfire, the movement has improved significantly. It definitely deserves a try.

With the servers currently broken in Call of Duty across MW3 MP and Warzone, it does appear that SBMM is also not working properly - and matchmaking is much more relaxed and easier right now.
No updates yet on when the it’ll be fixed. Player progression will restore once fixed.
