Our Chair @BlondelCluff visited #NationalLottery funded Support 2gether to hear more about their early intervention perinatal mental health service. This three-year project supports mothers find their voice and overcome stigma surrounding antenatal and postnatal depression.

We were delighted to welcome our Chair @BlondelCluff CBE to our Belfast office this morning, where our youth voice team and staff told her about our work supporting communities across Northern Ireland and the impact #NationalLottery funding is having in local areas.

As @TNLComFund Chair I never fail to be impressed by the knowledge and experience of our team. Visiting our #Birmingham office with Geoff Thompson of @birminghamcg22 last week, we met Elizabeth Watson, whose valuable insight into the #CommonwealthGames will help scope its legacy.

So good to catch up with our friend, renowned archaeologist Dr Jago Cooper of @SainsburyCentre @uniofeastanglia, whose educational work for @britishmuseum on the #Garinagu tribe was sponsored by @WI_Committee. Jago has set us on course for a voyage of #Garifuna culture discovery

All too often our own #history is hidden in plain sight, the appreciation of which could make the world of difference. @WI_Committee's ongoing engagement with the #Garinagu of St Vincent is a potent example that all such opportunities should never be confined to one month alone.

In life we are surrounded by unsung heroes whose work and dedication makes this world a better place. This year gave us the opportunity to rectify that by presenting Richard Allicock of @ThruLife2 with the Platinum Jubilee Medal for frontline services to the #Caribbean community.

A group of Thru Life young people had the honour to attend the @WI_Committee taking them on a voyage of self-discovery using @UNESCO memory of the world library and collection. @haringeycouncil #OctoberHalfTerm

The museum is hosting an exhibition from @WI_Committee and @NAM_London 'The West Indian Soldier' details the history of the British West India Regiments (BWIR) from their inception to disbandment, commemorating contributions of Caribbean servicemen & Women to the British Army.
