I visited a local sports club – the Aberbargoed Pistol and Rifle Club – recently to hear about a dispute the club is in with Vodafone over rent paid for hosting a telecoms mast on their land. I raised this issue on their behalf today and will be following it up with Vodafone.

As Chair of the Parkrun APPG, it was a pleasure to welcome parkrun staff and new CEO Elizabeth Duggan to Parliament to celebrate parkrun's 21st birthday. Parkrun has grown into a global phenomenon. It's 21st year is a testament to the power of friendship, fitness & volunteering.

I am horrified by the attack outside the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. My thoughts are with the Jewish community, the loved ones of all those affected, and the brave first responders.
