The answers in the correct order of influence for the Bitcoin bear market: 1) Global liquidity topped in Q4 2025 2) Bitcoin Core v30 3) The four year halving cycle BIP-110 is the solution to the issues Bitcoin Core v30 opened up, not the problem.

Yes, you can blame Bitcoin Core v30. There are other factors at play here too but Core v30 is the reason the top was lower than it could have been and why this bear market is going to be particularly bad.
Assuming $124,000 was the top and we go into a bear market from here you can thank the Bitcoin core devs and their idiotic SPAM enablement changes in Core v30 for the lower than expected top and if they don't change course the biggest crypto winter we've seen yet.

This Saylor dude clearly doesn’t understand Bitcoin. His advice is fiat maxi NGU thinking. The real rules are: 1. Not your keys, not your coins 2. Run a Bitcoin Node 3. Provide hash power through your node 4. Buy and sell in Bitcoin 5. Save in Bitcoin

Central banking and inflation as a policy is a pretty simple concept of scamming people without them knowing. Why has it worked for so long? Experts, bankers, economists and governments have obfuscated the simple core mechanism/principle, and made it seem super complex and far

Bitcoin's price is looking very bad as I suspected months ago would be the case when Core went ahead with the v30 disaster. Because of this I expect potentially the worst bear market in history ahead of us. However I'm very encouraged by the support for BIP-110. We will win!
IMO Bitcoin Core v30 is the primary catalyst of this selloff. It was literally released the same day as the largest liquidation event in crypto history (10/10/25) and it's been basically straight down since that day.

What is even spam, they say. 🚩 The Bitcoin plebs never mattered, they say. 🚩 You’re not technical enough, they say. 🚩 There is market demand, they say. 🚩 You are still living with a 2011 to 2014 mindset, they say. 🚩 This is ALL FAQ stuff which has been rehashed, they

If you're wondering what the actual support for Bitcoin BIP-110 in the network take a look at these ratios from AdSpam Spac and hodlnaut. It's clear hodlnaut's position (now officially supporting BIP-110) is FAAR more popular than Core Spam v30 changes.
@adam3us @crypo_stix @Arthur_van_Pelt @MrHodl I am observing this philosophical shift with my own eyes. This whole conversation is proof of it. Bitcoin’s direction used to be very simple, free of spam apologism, and true to first principles. A blog post by Peter Wuille does nothing to change what is happening on full display

Core v30 enabled this. «No philosophical pivot» my ass. Disgusting. 🤮 I am pivoting too. Will run Bip-110. Fuck the grifters. Bitcoin is money.

“Use cases” … aka scams. Bitcoin is peer-to-peer electronic cash. That’s the use case. That’s it. We don’t “have more uses cases” today.

Human nature + continuous protocol changes = unavoidable slide towards corruption of the protocol. Which is exactly why the «you’re not technical enough to understand the wisdom of this very controversial protocol change» should raise big red flags. Especially when strongly

@Fluky0p @Anton__BTC @mattkratter Using a RDTS-enabled node w/ DATUM Gateway should signal the RDTS bit in any blocks you find.

🚨 A lawyer cited 6 fake cases from ChatGPT. Got sanctioned, fined, career damaged. Now courts require "AI disclosure" but NOT AI verification. You're liable for hallucinations you can't reliably detect. Here's the legal crisis nobody's prepared for:

People will soon wake up and realize what LLMs really are: simply an unreliable word guessing program. Some AI is very interesting but LLMs are mostly useful in understanding human language in an attempt to parse out instructions but we'll never be able to rely on the output.
Honestly, Ben Affleck actually knowing AI and the landscape caught me off guard, but as a writer, makes sense. Great takes across the board.
