German biathlon gold medalist Laura Dahlmeier has died in Pakistan. The passionate mountaineer was hiking in the Karakorum mountains when she was struck by a rock near the Laila Peak. A rescue mission was unable to save her.

Many of the fake images and video presented as footage of India-Pakistan clashes are actually taken from video games. Perhaps that’s fitting, as so many of those posting this fake content seem to be treating the current crisis as a video game.
