We also analyzed differences in uteroplacental hemodynamics in pathological cases representative of intrauterine fetal growth restriction and preeclampsia, a serious condition that can affect the health of both mother and baby.

In this work, we studied the effect of different placentone anatomical parameters on uteroplacental hemodynamics and presented ranges for these parameters to guarantee a physiological simulation of a healthy and efficient placentone.
