You only have one microphone, and that's a MONO source. When you record or export to stereo, you're duplicating the same audio on both channels. That's extra work on my end to fix something you should not be doing.

Voice fam, if a project is asking for broadcast quality, rates should reflect that ask, especially if they're asking for specialized skill like ADR.
The non-union dubbing rate is 125/hr. with 2hr minimum. Your "first ADR credit" is worth just as much as any other ADR credit.

Doing it as a living/for profit is a totally different beast. Expectation of skill, knowledge, & audio quality is much higher.

Let’s face it, Texas isn’t that diverse. If you only think of remote folks for token roles, that’s 100 steps backwards from where we are now.

Colorblind casting doesn't equalize anything. It assumes experiences are race neutral, prioritizing Majority Culture.
As a result White folks can read for roles they have no cultural authenticity to and BIPOC don't have their unique experiences taken into consideration.
True "Colorblind casting" only works if the playing field is already level & equitable amongst ALL actors... none of which are a thing yet.
Right now we have to actively work towards equitability to BIPOC actors & strive for authentic casting as the initial baby steps. Bare min!
