Thank you to everyone who PACKED THE HOUSE at my 2025 Jersey City Mayoral Campaign announcement. I was overwhelmed by the support I received for my candidacy. Residents of Jersey City want to be heard and showed that they are in control of their next government leader.

Taking care of our seniors is one of my highest priorities, which is why I’ve sponsored our Senior Movie Trips for many years. It’s always great to hear from participants about how much these kinds of programs mean to them!

The fire this morning at the Newport PATH station is more proof that the system is failing Jersey City residents. We need action from the Port Authority NOW to fix the PATH and invest in public transit!.

I’ve partnered with labor unions throughout my career, but the work we did to pass Hudson County’s first Living Wage law is among my proudest moments as an elected official. Working class people deserve fair wages and opportunities, and I’ll never stop fighting for that.

I’ve been a supporter of adding Bus Rapid Transit to Kennedy Boulevard for years, so I’m glad to see the County Executive make this announcement. Feasibility studies and mockups are good, but JC residents deserve to see this plan move forward, and as Mayor I’ll make it a priority.

We must continue to come together in compassion, support, and the urgent call for change to prevent tragedies like this from happening again.

I’m heartbroken by the tragic shooting that took place in New York City last night. My thoughts are with the victims, their families, and all those shaken by this senseless act of violence.

The PATH is failing the people of #JerseyCity, and that’s why I went to the Port Authority Board meeting to demand better for our residents. What we’re asking for is not a luxury, it’s the bare minimum that our city needs.

Why can’t you go online and look up the rent for any apartment in Jersey City? You can do it for property assessments, so how come we can’t for rents? I’ll change that as Mayor and give residents the tools to find an affordable place to live and hold landlords accountable.

That’s why as Mayor I’ll sit down with the developers, nonprofits, houses of worship and more to make sure Jersey City is getting a fair deal and we’re building the affordable housing our community needs.

I’m the only candidate in this race who has actually developed affordable housing units, so I know what works and what doesn’t.

I spoke to both @RajMukherji and Ron Greco of @JCEA_jerseycity earlier today. If there are any appointed members in the future they must be non-voting. Now I’m hopeful that we can all work together to restore the $250 million in state aid that has been cut from our schools.

Any attempt to disenfranchise Jersey City voters is unacceptable, so I’m glad to see that this bill will not be advancing and thank Senator Mukherji for listening to the people.

The political machine wants to take control away from the people by moving to an appointed school board. This is an outrageous, undemocratic attack on our community, and as Mayor I’ll put a stop to it and preserve our right to choose our own elected leaders. Our City, Our Choice!.
