@CraigGuyHC Replacing the current bike lanes, there will be a protected two-lane bike track on the northbound side of River Road. This won't reduce the number of vehicular lanes or hinder traffic & is in keeping with Hudson County's Vision Zero pledge to end fatalities on our roads. (5/5)

@CraigGuyHC It's important to know that once roadwork is complete, River Road will return to a four-lane roadway with a middle turn lane. Assuming no weather delays, we hope to complete this project in the next five or six business days. (4/5)

@CraigGuyHC To reduce congestion & maintain safe, steady traffic flow, Hudson County is adjusting work schedules to limit peak-hour lane closures, deploying additional traffic control personnel, & better coordinating with local law enforcement & emergency services to keep access open. (3/5)

On Friday, @CraigGuyHC drove to River Road to survey the project and speak with concerned residents & business owners. He also spoke directly with the mayors & top police officials of the affected municipalities in an effort to better coordinate traffic flow. (2/5)

We are very excited about the ongoing River Road improvement project. But we realize the project is not without its challenges, like increased traffic. It's frustrating, it's annoying, and we hear you loud and clear. (1/5)

Picked the wrong state to mess with on day one of your shutdown. NJ Democrats sent a clear message today. NJ Republicans remain silent while the Administration continues to harm our state.
