Fascinating account from Bharat Gothoskar @BharGo8 describing Parsis in Bombay rioting against the British govt’s policy to reward citizens for killing stray dogs. Some people started killing pet dogs that belonged to the Parsis to claim their rewards.

@BharGo8 my aaji and ajoba used dambis and damrat a lot, mop(bharpur), nakavda(little), vais (little) , irsal, iss(to indicate disapproval), aais(mother), baapus,!! also malvani rassa is slightly sweeter than cuisine from ratnaigiri, may be due to ola khobra. .
