Whilst many Assembly Members focused their questions on members of the public visiting police stations to specifically report a crime, which was actually quite low and on the face of things appeared to justify the closure of the front counters to the public, @emmabest22 came in.
The Mayor's police counter closures will see Chingford station's counter close. But questioning by @emmabest22 revealed that the Met have made the decision without any data about how many people have actually used the station š

Why isn't the Mayor in City Hall today for the emergency meeting on police counter closures? @Councillorsuzie asks his Deputy repeatedly: when did Khan first know these closures were coming?
