Exciting day to present MAGMA at the Late-Breaking Science session of ESC HF 2025—and to discuss background and implications with Arsen Ristić. No better place to talk about magnetocardiography than Belgrade - a city so deeply connected to the legacy of Nikola Tesla.🧲

Myocardial inflammation is present in about 1/3 of ATTR-CA and may be linked with a higher risk of death and heart failure hospitalizations in ATTR-CA. Our article by Maximilian Müller just got published in Circ HF this week accompanied by an editorial. https://t.co/kJupIpZITi

Our 2024 ACC Expert Consensus Decision Pathway on Myocarditis just got published in JACC. Some key take aways: 1) Not every patient with myocarditis has high troponin, 2) Transfer high-risk patients to advanced HF centers early 3) Offer genetic testing

Great film by @SteveHilfiker and Nick Markart. 'WARRIORS: The Bernie Mac Disease' increases awareness of sarcoidosis. Screened at film festivals such as Cannes, it is now freely available at https://t.co/iW2Fgmfjpl. Thanks to the team for including me, my clinic, and patients.

Important to always obtain a CBC with differential if myocarditis is suspected. This patient had eosinophilic endomyocarditis and Ebstein anomaly with eosinophilia and thromocytopenia in the blood. Excellent response to prednisolon after all other etiologies were ruled out.
