Pleased to announce that I'm going to be leading the S&T policy agenda at the UK's newest think-tank, the Centre for @BritishProgress. Our goal is to make a real and rapid impact on the UK's #1 challenge - restarting economic growth.

This is really devastating for Dundee and for Scottish research – 20% of the uni's workforce. The city has completely transformed since I was a child and the uni has been a big part of that. Such a sad setback Many unis in similar boat, but Dundee is particularly vulnerable...
