So proud of our Kindergartners this morning in our annual Humpty Dumpty Egg Drop Challenge!

Mohansic students engaged in various coding experiences this week using @codeorg , @ScratchJr as well as unplugged coding activities for @hourofcode.

After reading Henry and the Buccaneer Bunnies, third graders worked hard to save Henry’s books with BreakoutEDU. @breakoutEDU @crims10

We extended International Dot Day a little bit for our second graders. After reading The Dot by @peterhreynolds students drew their own dots and then used @ChatterPixIt to make them come to life. They also built towers with index cards and dots. @DotClubConnect

September is Library Card Sign-up Month. Our third graders read A Big Surprise for Little Card by @ChariseHarper and then coded Scratch Jr. library scenes promoting getting a library card and finding their voice at the library @WestLibSys. #GetLibraryCarded

First Graders learning about media balance. We read Doug Unplugged by Dan Yaccarino and worked on unplugged coding activities.
