Do/Have you used a CD/DVD/Bluray in a while? What about burning a disk? I'm surveying modern day awareness of optical media, so if you know what a CD/DVD is please help me out by answering some 10 questions here https://t.co/Wx4hn4rMWw and then please RT for better visibility!

For those with bluesky accounts and not Masto/fediverse accounts, you can now actually follow https://t.co/ATfFaGZd5U to get semi automated reports from stuff I post on fedi. The account is basically write only, but it's better than nothing!

New blog post (in over a year!) Driver adventures for a 1999 webcam In where I refuse to accept that a webcam that I remember from my childhood won't work anymore for Google Meet, and write a userspace USB driver to bring it back from the obsolete dead: https://t.co/RIyUtZ0KBK

Some folks may find this useful: Ever had a tcpdump rule that you could just turn into a iptables rule? But you misplaced your nfbpf_compile ? No worries, https://t.co/Cc6GBq2qp3 will do it for you so you don't have to compile stuff in a pinch

*Taps sign* I've actually found myself posting a lot more on the 'verse because honk doesn't show me who/how/what people like, or how many followers I have Regardless. If you like my occasional musings. You can find me below.
I've now got something fediverse-aligned! You can follow me there on: @benjojo@benjojo.co.uk https://t.co/y3pw82EZiN I've basically forked "honk" ( https://t.co/HNk5wgc1DT) and added the stuff I wanted back :), and added my website's static file server on top.

We strongly recommend using @bgptools for #BGP #Monitoring services. The service offers similar features to #TrackBGP & has a strong development leader behind the project. @Benjojo12 Thanks for the support from all the @trackbgp users we hope to build on this in future products.

@sampullara Part of today will be turning off the “microservices” bloatware. Less than 20% are actually needed for Twitter to work!

Not predicting that I will abandon twitter anytime soon, but since a remarkable amount of my livelyhood has come via twitter and my blog, I'd like to have backup paths! So! If you have fediverse, give me a follow there. If you have RSS

My father is a home assistant enthusiast. Ages ago I bought them a HP SFF desktop to run all of their stuff to avoid constantly debugging broken raspberry pi's. Today I learned the NVMe included in it is rated for 10TBW. Yes, 10. 10 Terabytes written and it's over. e-waste...
