Incredibly thankful to have graduated with my PhD from @SBTS on Friday. It's been a long journey--one that I couldn't have finished without the constant support of my wife, family, and many others. Excited for more time with family and to continue serving, teaching, and writing!

Last Tuesday I passed my dissertation defense with distinction! It's been a long but fruitful journey, and I'm very excited to be finished. Very thankful for the guidance and friendship of my supervisor @DrJTPennington and most of all for the support of my wife and sons.

Cold. Soaked. Play suspended early. Two cancelled flights. But absolutely incredible experience at #themasters with my father-in-law yesterday!

This tournament is the best sporting event and you can’t convince me otherwise.

While I would definitely never want to be the act to follow @MatthewJHall, it became clear to me quickly that @pakin33 was the one to do it. @SBTS will be blessed by his leadership for years to come!

While this transition has been difficult, I'm incredibly excited to serve with @pakin33 as Provost. While I've been able to work closely with him for several years, I can't wait to work even more closely in serving @SBTS with our ultimate mission driving everything.

I honestly owe most of the opportunities I've had @SBTS to him, and it's been a joy to work so closely with him for the last several years. The closer you work with Matt Hall, the more you respect him and want to follow him. That's a rare quality these days.

His friendship, faithfulness, integrity, and wisdom are just a few of the things that have marked his time here. His leadership as Provost has shaped @SBTS just as deeply as the institution itself has shaped him. @biolau will be incredibly blessed by him and his family.
