Playing the Nuggets in the playoffs last year left me with begrudging respect. Playing the Timberwolves made me want the Thunder to rip out their soul and stomp on it. (Which thankfully, the Thunder did)

I legitimately want OKC to retire Chris Paul’s jersey. He was there for the season that made OKC a viable NBA market, he was there to bridge the gap between Russ and SGA, and mentored the players that lead them to a title. cc: @AndrewKSchlecht @Rylan_Stiles @DParkOK

The Thunder's defensive rating is currently 7.2 points better per 100 possessions than the 2nd best team. That is obscene. For context, last year they were talked about as an all-time great defense and they were 2.5 points better than 2nd best.

I love the idea of the Thunder having three lottery picks and four first round picks as much as any Thunder fan, but we all know they're not using more than one of them, right? Presti is trading out of all of those for future firsts.
