Was lovely to attend Little Melton’s Cakes Against Cancer event today! What I loved was being able to meet up with others on their own cancer journey and share stories and tips on how best to move forward. Money was being raised for both @CR_UK and @bigctweets cancer charities.

This is the difference our Labour Government makes. Neonatal Care Leave from day one of work. After 14 years of employment rights being unpicked we are moving the country forward.
Today I am pleased to announce there will be a new right to neonatal care leave which will be available from April. This will support new parents who have to face having a newborn in hospital with a right to leave from work whilst their baby is in neonatal care.

Great to be out with Joshua Horsfall in Swainsthorpe for a Saturday Street Surgery. Potholes were a hot topic, but it was fantastic to meet the local Community Speed Watch team to discuss speeding and keeping our rural lanes safe.
