DAY 9: Celebrating local groups & projects before I finish. 🥹 Super proud of this one. Connecting another co-op, @VillageGreensUK with @hubbub & @coopuk to bring a #CommunityFridge to Prestwich Library. Cutting down food waste & providing food for the community. @BuryLibraries
Our @hubbubUK #CommunityFridge in #Prestwich is open! In the library & open for anyone to take or leave food. Thanks to @coopuk for their funding, to @Morrisons_UK & other local stores for donating food & to our volunteers who made this happen! Open til 430 today, then 4th Jan 💚

DAY 8: @PrestwichForum today! This group do so much in the local community to help mitigate the effects of climate change. From #PlasticFreePrestwich to rewilding our spaces. A @coopuk local cause in 2021-22 it was wonderful to see the funding being used so productively ⬇️🩵
3/ At @PrestwichForum, we used our @coopuk funding to share seeds and plants locally. With Becca’s support, we were able to give away over 300 packets of wildflower & vegetable seeds at events in Prestwich, and donate plants to other amazing groups to brighten up their spaces 🌻

DAY 7: Celebrating Prestwich Street Kitchen today! They received a @coopuk community donation earlier this year to help with their mission to support their service users with hot food twice a week. They always welcome donations, check out their ℹ️ here ➡️
Lovely to present a #community donation cheque to Prestwich Street Kitchen tonight. This fab group provides 25 people with a hot meal every Monday & Friday evening. £150 will be used for a hot water urn & some food tubs. Thanks to #Prestwich Funeralcare for helping with this. 💙

Encore Youth Fire Choir, Manchester. 605 likes · 6 were here. ENCORE is a Youth Choir based in Bury for children aged 10-18. We meet weekly, and enjoy performing at events across the North West.
Always a delight to support these amazing young people. @encore_fire Choir regularly share their beautiful singing with the #Bury community. Tonight they celebrated the end of term with a party featuring some donated @coopuk drinks & snacks. Enjoy the Summer! @manchesterfire
