Dear lord it feels like 50% of the RCQ tournament reports I see this season are 5 rounds with a bye and 2-3 homie scoops. Like dang, must be nice to have an invite after winning 2 actual rounds.

Top 4 yesterday, fell a little short of the invite but I straight up think Seasons Past is just the better version of Waste Not. Pillage the Bog is absolutely insane, multiple times it was just demonic tutor.

Not sure if my issue lies with pioneer feeling like doodie lately or me realizing I have issue with the current RCQ rules. Like I’m super happy my friends can keep playing, but late season invites being determined by how many blockers are at an event is kinda lame.

Had some middling results for the last few RCQs and just wasn’t feeling myself going into todays. Decided to pay $30 and step into a Time Machine with one of my favorite standard decks ported to pioneer, BG Seasons Past Control.
