I think Iβve decided that I wonβt delete my Twitter accounts, but Iβm going to park my @LaughingGravy71 account and keep this one. I need to focus on the things that make me happy and that Iβm passionate about. Nature photography is one of those things. Have some spiders π

Facing my dew phobia face on, well not really this is back onπ€anyway. Loads of dewy goodness and frustration in this one to keep me screaming at the PC and helicon for not just sorting it, my god, can you not just know how shakey I amπ do better programmers. 67 shot

βDonβt shoot! Iβm unarmed!β Itβs true, they are; they have legs, not arms. So I shot them anyway. Photographically, obviously π #OMSYSTEM @OMSYSTEMcameras #macrophotography

1/5 Saved at the last second! A very attentive farmer in the town of Euskirchen (near Bonn) discovered a Marsh harrier's nest during the wheat harvest yesterday evening. He was able to bring the combine harvester to a halt literally at the last metre β¦

A rather moody sawfly for your consideration this Thursday. A right bugger to expose at a level I could work with, but I got there in the end π

My first ever flight shot of a little owl, and the chicks are practising their hunting skills. Only 22cm tall but a wingspan of 56cm @Hawkandowluk @Natures_Voice @BBCSpringwatch @BTO_Shropshire @ShropsWildlife @BTO_GBW @OMSYSTEMcameras @SWNS @sosbirds

I had the camera on a tripod, pre-focused on the leafcutter bee nest hole, hoping for an in-flight shot. When waiting for her, another female bee and a Ruby-tailed Wasp also turned-up. This is a composite of 3 shots. I THINK the little bee may be Osmia leaiana? #Bees

These incredible White-barred clearwings were found at Ystradfawr! π¦π These moths lack scales in parts of their wings, making them look transparent. This helps them to mimic flies and wasps to deter predators! #NationalMothWeek #Moths

This wee forest bug - Pentatoma rufipes - was blowing about in the wind too much to nail the focus properly to stack, but the resulting shallow DoF really draws your eye to the, er, eyes π @OMSYSTEMcameras #macro #macrophotography

Meet Marjory. Marjory campaigns passionately for the safe passage of all puffins against the tyranny of the Great Black-backed Gull. To relax, Marjory enjoys inventing new ways to cook with sand eels. Her recipes are very popular in the burrows of @skomer_island π

Is it just me, or does a puffin's beak look like itβs been stitched on to its face? π
This one is starting to come loose and it needs to see the beak stitcher to get it tightened up a bit.

A very teeny and very tiny shield bug nymph, possibly a bronze shield bug (Troilus luridus). I lost it after taking the 1st photo, but then I found it crawling on my arm π

I believe this is a Long Winged Cone-head cricket - Conocephalus fuscus, wot I found on my macro walk yesterday. Theyβre very shy critters, so I consider myself lucky to have got this shot π
