Well, that's the diet out of the window! Special edition Cadbury's Dairy Milk with 1951 design packaging, now available in the Museum Shop!
It's probably the only place in the country (if not the world), where you can get these!
What a difference a few weeks make! We've popped over to our 1950s Town construction site to take a look at how the terrace is coming along... windows, staircases, doors and shop fronts are all going in!

Beamish from above! We couldn't resist sharing this unusual view of our 350 acre museum site. Did you know that one of the reasons the site was selected by our founding Director Frank Atkinson was because of its basin shape?! So no modern buildings can be seen whilst you're here!
We’re thrilled to have been announced winners of the Pandemic Pivot Award in this year’s Museums + Heritage Awards! Thank you so much to everyone involved!

Time for some spring cleaning! Today we're chain harrowing the field, to break up and level any lumps of heavy soil or debris. This will help the new grass come through in the lovely warm weather we're having. Viking and Earl are doing an amazing job as always! 🐴
