After a year in a half leading the tech validation effort at IO, I thought it would be nice to take a step back and look at what we achieved so far. Here is a short recap.

And yes, we didn't disclose the date earlier. Sorry for that, but there was already enough pressure on the team, and thing could have gone south (there's always a minor chance that great ideas can't face the hard truth of reality).

The "secret roadmap" was to have a PR by end of August. We didn't want to disclose it because there was high uncertainty, as with any R&D work. And we faced challenges. Yet, here we are, with the integration of feedback on failed transaction, and a more minimal impact on dApps.

The team is now going through the description of the proposal and explains the design choices and tradeoffs.

So, here it is, we know have a public and submitted CIP for Leios. More than ever, it's now time for feedback. It may be too early to celebrate, as we want to be sure that the community agrees on it first, but it's a huge milestone.
