Our Vice Chancellor has taken paycut of £50,000, so figure is a touch lower. BUT given that each academic is being priced up @ £80,000 (I know I know but with on costs) symbolically cut should be more. AND still a huge salary for failure. DVC salary also huge. #SaveBirkbeck.
