I'm very interested in how the store is doing. I honestly cannot imagine anyone opening their wallet for cosmetics in #BF6🤷 While I spend a lot, I mean A LOT on cosmetics in Overwatch and Warframe, cosmetics in @Battlefield only make the game worse and less enjoyable for me 🤡
3 new store bundles in #Battlefield6. Winter Sphinx (2,000 BFC) Iron Claw (1,800 BFC) Art of War (1,250 BFC)

A YouTuber tested ARC Raiders matchmaking by using 2 separate accounts: one where he engaged in PvP and another where he was only friendly. The conclusion: The game's matchmaking indeed judges your aggression and puts you into friendly or hostile lobbies accordingly.
ARC Raiders analyses player behaviour and uses an aggression based matchmaking, according to an Embark art director. Bloodthirsty players are put in more aggressive lobbies, while chill players mostly get less aggressive lobbies.

Did it "take" 5 months or was the designer only given 5 months? I would not be surprised if the other maps had to be created in a similar timeframe, that would explain most of their issues. I still believe that #BF6 originally aimed for a 2026 release but EA forced 2025 later.
Senior Environment Artist Anton Ek says New Sobek City map was built in around 5 months #Battlefield6. That's in a shorter time frame than #Battlefield2042 maps which, according to former DICE GM Oskar Grabielson, took around 6-12 months each.

It is about time we seriously talk about it. If you guys are really all about raising the skill ceiling and creating opportunities for true skill expression, then there are many ways to achieve this. You could even keep the current range of movement, with resource mngmt on top.

If anyone wonders why the MEC team is so shit compared to aMT. aMT was a German e-sports team, the MEC team was the German EGC clan that ran (illegal) #BF2 ranked stats padding/boosting servers (knife&pistol only) who were stupid enough to challenge aMT for a clan war. 🤣
@Tigman88 @BattleNonSense That wasn’t a one off video, there’s more. I’ve done my research, many people have played like this and even someone who was there at the time, @TheInfamousEG, say corroborates this. And saying that glitchy movement has never been apart of BF shows how truly misinformed you are.

S@K InfOnly, squad spread out more than usual. But generally speaking, yes!😃 Stamina management, tap firing/single shot, etc.. First 2 reloads no one would do as #BF2 reloads mags and drops used mags. Probably bad habit from playing modern BF, he makes that mistake less later😀
@SorehaNick @Tigman88 @BattleNonSense This is the most accurate video ive seen of how BF2 was Drop shooting Jump strafing The gunplay The movement Jump shooting Even the nade spam and how people played around their team This is how it was before Digital Illusions aka Dice killed it https://t.co/K57VBX2hbE

That would fix a lot: -don't want to run to a CP? Ask for a vehicle drop -don't "see" the enemy? Ask for a UAV -annoyed by campers? Ask for Artillery strike -dont know where to go? Ask CMDR for orders -gives you more to do (destroy enemy commander assets, repair yours,...) -..
@BattleNonSense They need to bring back commanders.

@BattleNonSense I need movement enthusiasts to play games with actual movement tech. They cry about skill while performing simple movements that lack skill to perform

And resource management. What those who did not play #BF2 have to be made aware of is that this game had stamina, you could not sprint indefinitely. If you drained your stamina with sprinting/hopping you ended up extremely vulnerable. Similar if you had bad ammo/mag management.
I bet the no movement "BF vet" crowd would crap themselves if they saw some of the old BF2 comp videos from Team HOT and all the bunny hopping, dolphin diving, C4 throwing going on then. Those compilation videos showed nothing "milsim" whatsoever but pure skill gap based on

Relatively simple solution would be to bring back stamina. That would maintain the range of movement but rein it in as you cannot do it indefinitely. This would also increase the skill ceiling as you now have to think about how you move and when, bad decisions get punished.
Im so sad that this CoD like movement is allowed in Battlefield 6 ... 📹: Curve / Battlefield Redsec Tournament Clip #Battlefield6 #BF6 #Redsec

It was a massive gamble to release a patch so close to the tournament. This is a sign that they continue to run out of time as a patch should have been released 2 weeks prior to the event with time left for hotfixes. Management and quality control remain a problem at BF Studios.
The patch this week has been incredibly unfortunate for all of us, I'm sure the devs are just as bummed out as the players, if not more so. However, it means a lot to me see them take responsibility, make the right calls, and get patches out in a prompt fashion to address the

I am not sure how loud these alarms are because the base game already sold extremely well. My guess is that what they are really concerned about now is how to have RedSec generate at least the same amount. I fear that BF Studios is entirely focused on that now, MP is secondary.
Battlefield 1 released in Nov of 2016 on a budget of 100m-150m. It was not a live service game and the first DLC hit in March of 2017. Yellow is PC, blue and green are the consoles. Per EA investor calls player count trends typically align across all platforms barring a major

3+ months after #BF6 release we will get one number changed for jets and air radar added. What about Helicopters (esp. Transport), Combined Arms Combat as a whole, the state of Conquest (maps) and Squad play? Why do core aspects of the MP get neglected like that? Focus on RedSec?

If "movement enthusiasts" are serious about widening the skill gap in #BF6 via movement, then lets re-introduce stamina to punish movement/repositioning mistakes again. I welcome the return of magazine reloads to increase skill expression via resource management/aim. CLASSIC BF

Thanks for finding the video! Guess who infinityloop is, yeah *I* edited that video and was about to upload it! aMT was an esports team back then. Like I always said, BF2 was NOT a MilSim, it was NOT static. In that vid you clearly see the impact of stamina and gun design.
@BattleNonSense *Bad players didn’t play this way, just like every Battlefield game. You all think it having a movement skill gap is new. People even think BF4 had no movement, you all just are severely misinformed. Literally took one quick google search to prove you wrong btw.

There was a lot of filler content in these DLCs, especially gamemodes and maps that no one played post their release. However, I much rather have such DLCs or better fewer, larger Add'Ons like Vietnam for BC2, or Special Forces for BF2 than what we have now.....
I know it's over, but I REALLY miss this level of Battlefield post launch content! Imagine if a game in 2025 hit you with ALL OF THIS! Absolute Cinema
