I was wrong about the tourettes outburst at BAFTA, and I'm sorry for rushing to judgment. We were all mislead - the BBC edited out every other outburst during the program except that one. They created a situation that appeared singular and targeted. I do not diminish the

The private water companies have taken out £85 billion in dividends since privatisation. They’ve loaded up the companies with £82 billion in debt. And invested very little. Mad system. Public ownership of water NOW. #DirtyBusiness

Humans are hardwired for connection. What does connection mean to you? Perhaps it's a familiar look or expression, a smile, a shared routine, doing things together that feel safe & known. Connecting happens frequently without words. #WithSLTuCan

Communication in dementia isn't just about words — it's about tone, body language, facial expression, grace and patience. Even when memories fade, the need for connection remains. Offer kindness & listen with all the senses. #WithSLTuCan

Turning abandoned malls into retirement communities is actually a pretty good idea. Keep the food courts and movie theaters. Keep a few storefronts for groceries, a pharmacy, a general store, various medical needs, etc. The rest of the stores can be converted into apartments.

The importance of time to listen, really listen cannot be underestimated but also the time to act on what is heard. So many times the act of listening is misconstrued as the act of asking a question and writing down the answer...that's it. That's not it.
