#NowWatching Curado de espantos aka Cured of Fears For Day Eighteen of Hooptober 2025, I was tasked with finding a film from a Mexican or Central American director. Of all the movies I've watched for Hooptober, this is by far the most obscure.

#NowWatching Pumpkinhead For Day Seventeen of Hooptober 2025, I'm rewatching another amazing horror starring the always awesome @lancehenriksen. Like Near Dark, I haven't seen Pumpkinhead in a very long time.

Happy 44th anniversary to The Evil Dead, the first installment in the Evil Dead franchise. The eerie wind noise in the movie was recorded by Sam Raimi. He first heard it through his bedroom window while he was trying to sleep and thought it would be perfect for the movie.

#NowWatching The Final Terror For Day Fourteen of Hooptober 2025, I'm checking out the second film shown alongside Mute Witness on the newest episode of The Last Drive-in. I've had this on my watchlist for years, so I'm excited to watch it with @therealjoebob’s commentary.

#NowWatching Poltergeist For Day Twelve of Hooptober 2025, I was tasked with finding a Tobe Hooper film. This will be a rewatch for me since I haven't seen Poltergeist in a very long time.

Happy 24th anniversary to Mulholland Drive, which follows an aspiring actress who befriends an amnesiac woman after a car crash. Monty Montgomery, who portrayed The Cowboy, couldn't remember his lines. Justin Theroux had to hold up boards for him to read off-camera.

#NowWatching Roadgames For Day Eleven of Hooptober 2025, I’m checking out an Australian horror film that was directed by Richard Franklin, the director of Psycho II and Link, and stars Jamie Lee Curtis. I liked Psycho II and Link, so hopefully, this one will also be good.

Happy 62nd anniversary to From Russia with Love, the second film in the James Bond franchise. Sir Sean Connery was outfitted for this movie with eight specially tailored Savile Row suits, each one costing approximately two thousand dollars.

#NowWatching Flesheater Tonight, the #FFBMovieNight folks and I are checking out a low-budget zombie movie that was directed, written, produced, and stars Bill Hinzman, the cemetery zombie from Night of the Living Dead. From the trailer, it looks both cheesy and fun.
