This is extremely historically disingenuous and downright insulting to the memory of the Gwangju martyrs. You call yourself a Korean? “without using a single bullet or foreign military” probably because the U.S. was giving the dictators weapons, ammunition, and logistical aid.

The conservative logic of “reciprocity” makes no sense to me. Korea does not have an anti-discrimination law. Through their logic, the United States should remove Korean people from the anti-discrimination protections; allowing for denial of housing, work, or medical treatment.
