Just out here doing high-level government work on our off-season—driving the truck in circles so we don’t lose it for “lack of use.” Nothing says efficiency like donuts in the dirt. #UseItOrLoseIt.

Let me get this straight—As a government employee, I’m required to use tax dollars to buy a $500 gov-approved knockoff piece of equipment that lasts 2 weeks instead of the high quality version from the real company for $10 that lasts a decade? #FreedomToOverpay.

I learned about this new drone technology that could revolutionize our research—only to find out we can’t use it because it’s made in China. #PoliticsOverProgress.

They Froze Light. Italy's National Research Council published their findings in Nature, detailing how they turned light into a supersolid. They used a laser to interact with a gallium arsenide semiconductor patterned with microscopic ridges, forming polaritons-hybrid

Am I the only one that couldn’t reply to the 5 things email today due to computer issues and the fact that they fired our IT guy? 🙃.

The Office of Personnel Management (~2500 employees) budgeted $370M for IT spending in FY2025. They believe this value can be reduced by ~80% while maintaining equivalent levels of service. Initial reductions include:. -$1.9M for studies on quantum cryptography and quantum.

1) found a group of rare birds in danger.2) filed a permit to move them .3) got approval 6 months later.4) birds died off 5 months ago .5) contemplated if there’s a better way to do things…. Save Us @elonmusk @DOGE !.

Don’t get me wrong @elonmusk / @DOGE … I’m a big fan. But I can’t reply to your HR email with 5 things I did because I’m locked out of my email and you fired our IT guy 🤦‍♀️🙃 Maybe reconsider the strategy?.

Hey @elonmusk, who actually has authority here? Should government employees listen to their managers, agency directors, or the President? Why does it feel like the system runs on chaos and paperwork instead of leadership and innovation? Can you fix this? 🙏 🇺🇸.

In the wild, everything adapts to survive. In government, we adapt to… fill forms faster?.

With your HR email deadline approaching… You say reply or resign, FBI says don’t reply, USDA says it’s optional, DOD says don’t do it, my supervisor says don’t reply or if I do not to cc him and leave him out of it… @elonmusk what do I do? Just trying to keep my job 🙃.
