Why are these coaches encouraging bad technique? I literally encourage all of my athletes to stretch their back handsprings out. It saves athletes a lot of energy and prevents injuries.

People already have Gabby and Suni on their Olympic team predictions when we haven't seen them compete yet. And we've only seen Suni on one event.
Both are amazing athletes and I don't doubt they do well, but I would think you would want to see them compete before.

Varsity is likely going to change the number of boys required for large coed so more gyms can take part instead of getting rid of large coed entirely. Large Coed is simply too much of an iconic division to simply get rid of.

As someone who went through something similar as Kara Eaker and Kim Tessen in high school theatre, I fully believe them. The accounts discrediting their statements triggers a lot of trauma reminicing the gaslighting I went through when I tried to speak out in my situation.

I don't think anyone is saying that it's not impressive and that she isn't capable. She is. But with the way she is landing it, it doesn't look ready for the floor. The way she is landing it is dangerous.
She is only 13. She has time. There is no need to rush it onto the floor.

If NCAA was scoring fairly, then yeah she she wasn't robbed. However, considering worse vaults with more obvious errors have been given 10s, the complaints are valid. The scoring needs to be consistent.

Micromanaging athletes diet and criticizing the weight/looks of athlete's is NOT a part of a healthy rigorous training plan. It's abuse.

What you are seeing now with Sophia Jade on cheertwt is a result of systems not protecting victims.
Not reporting through the proper systems and using it as "blackmail" is a result of the lack of safeguards in the cheer community and systems not taking those guards seriously.

2. Fred Richard is actually the second black man to win an AA medal at worlds. Manrique Larduet from Cuba won silver at worlds in 2015.

She is still growing and developing. And a 2 year old's muscles and coordination aren't there yet. It's impressive she could get this far at her age, but very dangerous. At the very least wait until age 4. It would still be questionable, but it would be much safer than this.

Note Prodigy All Stars is also a part of Cypress Academy of Gymnastics, also a USAG member club which means Prodigy All Stars is under Safesport jurisdiction.
‼️Prodigy’s statement on the release of Kareem from their program after receiving allegations of inappropriate behavior with minors and young adults. They have also reported this to Texas Family Services & USASF and now awaiting investigations.
