Where it all began, 39 years ago. The first of now so many.
On this day in 1986, @wearejames released their debut studio album, Stutter on @sirerecords . What an introduction. More of a folk sound but still fantastic to listen to. Included the one single So Many Ways and reached number 68 in the UK album charts.

On this day in 2023 @wearejames played “I Defeat” in honour of Sinéad O’Connor who sadly died a few days before. With @chloealper stepping in, singing Sinéad’s lines with @RealTimBooth the tribute was truly fitting. Checkout that one off performance here.
