@WilliamPDoyle reminds everyone that without continuous dredging, the big ships would not be able to come to Maryland. Port Admin rebuilding washed away islands using sediment dredged from shipping channels.

USACE, Baltimore District, received funding for dredging specific projects such as $1.175 million to clear drift and hazardous debris from the Anacostia and Potomac rivers in D.C. to keep waterways safe; and $720,000 to clear drift and hazardous debris from the Baltimore Harbor.

.@CBP officers in #Baltimore encountered a shipment of #taxidermy specimens which contained 35 prohibited items. The items had a MSRP of $344,192.00. Here are some of the items found in the shipment.
