For the last 2 years, the NDP could not care less about Spruce Woods or rural Manitoba. Now â right before a by-election blackout â theyâve suddenly had 4 big announcements in the area. Either heâs had an epiphany or the premierâs trying to buy some votes in Spruce Woods.

The Reimer family has fought tirelessly for justice, but their pleas have been ignored by Wab Kinew and his NDP. As the Attorney General, NDP minister @mattwiebeMB has the power to order a review. He needs to do whatâs right, not whatâs popular in his caucus.

We must continue to advocate for meaningful bail reform. I personally donât believe we will see any positive results until there is a change in Federal Government and this a change in philosophy.
Hundreds of people charged with murder while on bail. In 2022, there were 256 people charged with homicide while on release, including house arrest and parole. With 874 homicides in 2022, the 256 equate to 29% of all homicides.âŚ@Safety_CanadaâŠ

When Chief of Police for the @BrandonPolice I was excited to support this important legislation. The comments from the NDP were so very negative touting this bill would have no effect. Fast forward to today and đĽ Well done @MLAGoertzen
This is great news. As Minister of Justice I recall the NDP opposition saying this legislation and efforts with Crime Stoppers would not work to curb catalytic converter theft. But it has worked. Thank you to law enforcement across the province! #MBPoli
