HIPAA doesn't prohibit anyone from asking you medical questions. It prohibits your doctor, insurer, and health information clearinghouses from disclosing your health information without your consent. Usually. But not always.

Oh? You think you want a hippopotamus for Christmas? Think again. Bad table manners, not housebroken, and perpetually cranky. Just don't.

All that PHI, and I bet there was no disclosure authorization.
Ivermectin pusher William Makis responded to Scott Adams' post by claiming he didn't follow his "protocol" (which Adams denies), his cancer was "probably" caused by covid vaccines, and that he "didn't discount the possibility" that Adams was part of a plot to discredit him. π¬

Do I even need to say it? Even though the patient has spoken publicly about your relationship and treatment, you, the Healthcare provider, do not have the right to disclose anything without that patient's consent.

HIPAA covers the health records of people. It does not require them to be citizens.
@matt_vanswol @cwebbonline HIPPA covers citizens, that is what it means to be a citizen, the laws protect citizens. If an illegal wants protection, they will find it back in their country, the one where they have their own citizens rights. Why is that so hard to grasp?
