This is the first thing on her profile, and it's not uncommon. You know how women hate men who treat them like their mothers, expecting them to cook, clean and pick up after them? Well, this is no better. #Dating #OnlineDating

Was chatting to a match after work this evening, I said that I was just heading out to football training with my son. Instant unmatch. #OnlineDating #TheBarIsSoLow

This is about as appealing as a man advertising for someone to pick his socks up off the floor

By the way, whilst I'm here, online dating just seems to get worse every time I log in.

Actually, this is how most of my matches end these days. It's better than ghosting, and isn't as draining on the old will to live. And it's easy to spot when they're just maintaining the conversation to be polite.

I've taken various precautions in the past, including asking my dates to send a photo of me and my car registration to a friend, sending updates on locations to a friend, and I even brought my DBS certificate to a date once.

Genuinely thought I'd seen it all after previous dates had played shoe hoopla with my head, and snorted coke off the back of a 50p coin. Apparently not!

I went on a date a couple of weeks ago. Very rare these days. She had double booked herself with another date. At the same time. At the same pub. Yep, there were 3 of us on that date!

So I've gone back on the apps, but it's just as awful as its always been. It's hard coming to terms with being 43, and facing the fact that my last chance has been and gone. I feel like I have something good to offer.... But I have to be realistic too.

Even without the covid stuff, 2020 was an awful year. I just about made it through. In the end, my engagement lasted 6 weeks. It's been a tough one to bounce back from, but I'm in a much better place again.

10. She got so drunk that we matched on a different app afterwards. She then told me about our date, not realising that I was the guy she had been out with

9. She had been on a run of 6 night shifts, then gone on an all night bender the night before we met. Company was awful, luckily she fell asleep. Date lasted half the time it took me to drive home.

8. Had a row in the car park after I had asked her to go Dutch. Later found out she was married, and used Tinder to get free meals when hubby was working away

6. Another awkward encounter. Her online stalker gatecrashed our date, and offered us cocaine and a threesome. Got rid of him, thought I'd rescued the date, but she got really drunk and got her tits out in a crowded pub

5. We bumped into her ex 5 minutes into the date. They had a very long catch up, I went to meet some mates at the pub instead!

3. She turned up late and very drunk, was very racist, and then just wandered off after about an hour when she bumped into some friends
