More unused models in the OoT3D E3 2010 rom! The style definitely feels closer to Twilight Princess than release with this slimer Link. The last one spelling "Grezzo" is a test model for different UV maps.

A dump of all 3DS game prototypes from E3 2010 has been released to the internet, which includes the earliest build of Mario Kart 7 showcased to the public! The demo has a debug menu hidden inside the code, which can be used to actually play the game and explore many maps (1/3)

In Mario Kart Wii, the red Shy Guy from DK Summit is unique in that it's the only one that performs 3 spins during jumps. The other Shy Guys only perform 1 spin. (1/2)

In Mario Kart Wii, it's possible to hit a player from under the road in Luigi Circuit by throwing a Bob-Omb out of bounds at specific spots. This happens because Luigi Circuit has a collision plane under the road, where items can land, as seen at the end of this video.

Here's where this is achieved in the code. Only in DS Twilight House, the game will copy the vehicle's lighting into the Blooper's, which has the side effect of darkening the Blooper itself after the player is hit by the ink. Source: Shared Ghidra repo (GC / Wii Decomp Server)

In Mario Kart Wii, the Blooper's model always has bright lighting, even if the player is stepping into a shadow or other spots that change the lighting But in DS Twilight House, the Blooper lighting matches the player's, which also darkens the Blooper after being hit by the ink

Although the album mentions that this is Corfu, it actually might be Antirrio Beach, in Greece (38.33066179920841, 21.76126098749739) The date for the original photo source is June 18th, 2000. (2/2)
