Alas. This is true. A decade ago, with nuances, Canada was doing very well economically. When the progressive Liberals were voted in power in 2015, the Conservative government passed on .. wait for it .. a balanced budget. Now a pipe dream. Elections matter.
Canada is the 2nd largest country on Earth, with unlimited levels of oil, nat gas, hydro electricity and minerals relative to the size of their population (1/10 of USA). Justin Trudeau & Mark Carney have messed it up so badly that Canada is now poorer than Alabama.
