From Mike Wang:. The visual cue doesn't move around in different spots in the animation. the ideal release point is always at the same point in the animation based on the cue you choose. The "problem" with shooting is a lot of people are just expecting to have the same success.

Since we’re losing the plot. 1. We asked for 2K to do something about Zens even though they’re a hardware issue. 2. 2K implements a shooting system that is dynamic to help combat Zens. 3. Gives us an option to have a bigger green window.4. Implements an in game reporting.

Shooting in NBA2K25 on high risk high reward is not RNG. The shot animation is dynamic & slightly changes as you make more shots. However, The visual cue on screen remains the same & there is still a pure green window.

Just a friendly reminder… Shooting Slump does NOT need a nerf in NBA 2K24. You need to ADJUST. Dunk the ball or get a stop on the defensive end to get out of it. (OK to increase from 2 to 3 misses in a row before it activates but that’s it)

A Skill gap is important in any game. Casuals have something to aspire to, while competitive play is & fresh exciting. Animation cancelling, move variety, & input responsiveness is a key to achieving rewarding gameplay. If both sides of the ball are “OP” & on an even playing.

@PowerGotNow The game is so unbalanced toward offense right now. Defense feels nonexistent. Plucks are better, but we can’t get good contests especially on fades. Lanes were nerfed into the ground rewarding low pass accuracy again. The offense morphs back to every loose ball. Paint defense.

Let’s end this debate once and for all. It’s not about adjusting to the new 2K. Good 2K players will do that. It’s about bringing creativity & freshness back to the game. In every 2K game there is going to be a meta. For dribbling though , there used to be a wider range of.
