The Busy Bees have loved learning all about Diwali. So much that they decided to create our very own Rangoli pattern. Everyone played a part, working together and sharing their ideas before complementing each other on what a beautiful job they had done!@StAnnes_EHS @BPooleStAnnes

The Busy Bees have learned that Harvest is an old word for Autumn. We have followed the journey of bread from the field to the shop and made our own bread which we ate with butter and jam. A lovely Friday treat! @StAnnes_EHS @HTelfordStAnnes

Thank you Caz from St Andrew’s Church for delivering harvest workshops for every class. The Busy Bees enjoyed guessing which plant the tiny seeds belonged to and thinking about all of God’s creation, including the people we care for. @StAnnes_EHS @EducationBW

The Busy Bees love the number 3! 3 sand pies, 3 beanbags in the hoop, giving Numberblock three 3 buttons and picking 3 things up with the tweezers. We know that number 3 can be made of 1+1+1 or 2+1 or 3+0. @StAnnes_EHS @AWebbStAnnes @HTelfordStAnnes

The Busy Bees enjoyed exploring paint, chalk, felt tip pens and wax crayons. We talked about how the different medium felt in our hands and which we enjoyed using the most. Paint was the winner! @StAnnes_EHS @LPStAnnes @HTelfordStAnnes

In PE today, the Busy Bees went on a bike adventure. We pretended the beanbag was our helmet, we talked about being aware of other cyclists when we were moving and we balanced on one leg when getting onto our bike. @StAnnes_EHS @HTelfordStAnnes @KWebsterStAnnes

In our RE lesson today, we learned that Christians believe that God is the creator of all life. God gave life even to jellyfish but the materials we used to make jellyfish were not alive! @StAnnes_EHS

We have loved welcoming our new Busy Bees! They have had so much fun exploring our lovely learning environment at Hewish and we can’t wait to see what the year will bring! Learn to love…love to learn. 👍🐝😊

What a lovely afternoon we have had sharing our learning with our parents, grandparents and carers. The Busy Bees brought a tear to our eyes with their beautiful singing and they were so brave to speak to such a large audience. I am beyond proud! @StAnnes_EHS @HTelfordStAnnes

After listening to the story of Jesus feeding 5,000 people, we thought about people who are starving in our neighbourhood. We designed posters to remind parents that we have a food bank collection box in our school. Please donate if you can next week. Thank you. @StAnnes_EHS
