The @BMWGroup is making driverless manoeuvering of any BMW car within its plant logistics possible. South Korean #startup @seoulrobotics and Swiss startup @embotechAG created the technological base for this new, unique functionality:
Automated logistic processes. As part of a pilot project, the BMW i7 drives automated with the support of the plant’s communication infrastructure within our plant’s logistics and assembly zones. #BMWGroup #THEi7

Last, but not least. one of our 360° #Sustainability Awards goes to @SkyCoolSystems and its dual-mode film panels that create a cooling effect by radiative cooling. Integrated into our air-conditioning systems, this could potentially save up to 80% on energy for the @BMWGroup!

Congrats to another 360° #Sustainability winner: @EcoTechRecycles and its technology for manufacturing new synthetic rubber from used, end-of-life tires. This could replace up to 24% of rubber in spare tires of the @BMWGroup vehicles as well as other rubber components.
