Michael Jeffreys & his family @SPBSUK is sorry to report that Professor Elizabeth Jeffreys, Bywater and Sotheby Professor of Byzantine and Modern Greek Language and Literature @UniofOxford died painlessly early on 12.09.2023. Byzantine Studies is poorer for this terrible loss.
