During #BabyLossAwarenessWeek, I spoke in Parliament about my constituents Sherena and Jack and their daughter Maia. Maia’s death was preventable, and caused by outdated, unsafe practices at Kingston Hospital and growth monitoring that diverged from national standards.

Earlier @MichelleWelshMP asked the Prime Minister @Keir_Starmer about maternity safety. We were pleased to hear last week’s #BabyLoss debate mentioned and a recognition of how sharing personal experiences drives change. We welcome his commitment to improve maternity safety ⬇️
