What an honor! Girls’ Latin School alumna Ruth Batson (GLS '39) championed the fight for school desegregation, advocating for Black students to receive equal educational opportunities. The new #RuthBatsonAcademy (grades 7-12) is in Dorchester, steps from @UMassBoston.
The Boston School Committee on Wednesday night is expected to approve renaming a Dorchester high school after civil rights leader Ruth Batson.

The Help A Dragon Campaign ends on Thurs, Dec. 14th to allow @BostonLatinAcad enough time to purchase & distribute gift cards to families before classes end for winter break. BLA can also accept cash, checks & gift card sent via mail. 🐉🖤💛 More info:
