Packers have signed their punter Daniel Whelan to a contract extension. Whelan has registered two of the top three single-season averages for punting in franchise history, posting a 46.2-yard average in 2023 (No. 2), and a 46.1-yard average in 2024 (No. 3).

Talked about it last night, Hobbs playing would be big for Green Bay in trying to slow down the Lions passing game.
Cornerback Nate Hobbs (knee) returned to #Packers practice for the first time since the end of the July. WR Jayden Reed (foot) also returned. Elgton Jenkins (hip) practiced again. DE Micah Parsons (back) logged his third practice in a row. Here's video of them all.
