Matthew Golden (shoulder), Christian Watson (knee/hamstring) set to practice today. Same with LVN (foot). Aaron Banks, who is not on the injury report, rode the bike during stretch and did not go outside. Could be trying a different strategy with him? Also no Nate Hobbs (knee).

Packers coach Matt LaFleur said DL Lukas Van Ness has practiced in “a very limited fashion” in his first on-field work since his early October foot injury, but he isn’t ruling LVN out. “If he feels like he can go, we’ll put him out there.”

QB Jaxson Dart, WR Darius Slayton, OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux and OLB Chauncey Golston all won't practice again Friday, per Mike Kafka. Haven't practiced this week. S Tyler Nubin and DT Rakeem Nunez-Roches also seem like longshots for Sunday vs. Packers.

OC Adam Stenavich on Bo Melton repping w/the WRs in practice today after playing 26 snaps on offense on Monday, when he had a key dropped pass: “Want to make sure he’s getting (offensive reps) as often as possible.” Melton is still listed as a CB but hasn’t played on defense.

Hafley was asked about this just now and said his mom back in their native New Jersey is probably aware of that possibility but he’s “focused on beating the Giants.” No doubt though that it’s a chance for them to get an up-close look at the Packers’ defensive coordinator.
Last year, Ben Johnson came into Soldier Field and absolutely emptied the bag with the Lions offense in front of the Bears' fans, front office, and ownership. It left a lasting impression on all. Jersey's Jeff Hafley has a real chance to do that Sunday versus the Giants.

More from Christian Watson on being added to the injury report: “I like being just football sore and not ACL and knee sore, so it’s been fun for me to get back to regular football and I’ve been enjoying it. It’s just good to be back out there.” No concern about Sunday.
