Funny how you can’t read the part about Trump himself having determined that they deserved protection. So tell me: which of these conditions, which Trump described in 2021, have been solved in the last four years? Spell out the specific improvements in Venezuela since then.
@ReichlinMelnick Funny how a lawyer doesn't understand what "temporary" means.

By the way the ACA Premium problem goes back to Joe Manchin and his refusal to make them permanent in the Inflation Reduction Act. Then Dems lost the house in 2022 and then the 2024 election happen. Shit is so frustrating.

An unlikely group that helped @SpanbergerforVA win on Tuesday: rural voters who had previously supported Trump. His tariffs have had a real impact on people, and they're looking for something different. Moderate Democrats can offer that option in 2026.

The governor-elect deviated from past Democrats’ strategies by spending time in deep-red rural Virginia.

Argentina President Javier Milei doing the “Trump dance” at Mar-a-Lago after getting an $40 billion bailout. Meanwhile, Trump won’t renew subsides for American healthcare.

It is turning to what Americans call “anti-bedtime leftism”, when any of society’s obligations is greeted in the same way a toddler reacts to bedtime

Sherrill and Spanberger got 102% of anti-Trump voters. Mamdani got 73%. That would lose every swing district. These guys have no idea what electable is.
Morris Katz of the Mamdani campaign: "This applies to Zohran but it also applies nationally...there are no people right now who have a worse read on what electable means and less of a pulse on voters than the Democratic establishment in DC." #crookedcon2025

The fact he thinks this looks good is grounds for the 25th Amendment in itself.

It’s funny after every election they talk about Black people being on a plantation, but silent on the Rural white Americans who consistently vote Republican. The ones who are on EBT, the ones who are begging Trump for yet another farmer bailout that they didn’t need under

This shutdown is a reminder that “an executive branch unbound by Congress or the courts has a unique ability to inflict and prolong pain on the people,” @DavidAGraham argues in The Atlantic Daily. https://t.co/5YeVMjcNol

Seen conservative Twitter snickering at this photo. These are escape hoods that Members had to wear after Trump summoned an armed mob to the Capitol and police had to use tear gas to stop invaders.

Reminder that one cannot be taken seriously as a "small government conservative" while also endorsing the essentially unlimited presidential powers that Trump is seeking. It is completely incompatible - as they will suddenly realize when the other side wins the White House.
Gorsuch asks whether a different president could declare a national emergency on climate change. Sauer says he thinks they probably could. So a GOP administration is arguing to the Supreme Court that a climate change emergency is probably allowed, for the sake of tariffs.

My sister had very little interest in Zionism or yiddishkeit. She's in college and had a miserable time since 10/7 with deranged activists. She took some time off to do a gap year in Israel. Told us today she is submitting her aliyah application. Congrats to the anti-Zionists.
