When I was a child, my father took me to Shea one evening to see Mets vs. Pods. During pre-game warmups, he called out to Tony Gwynn to ask for a ball. Gwynn slung it directly at us, but the person seated next to my father stuck his hand out and snared the ball. He was pissed.
