Not often you get to play in sand wearing cover-alls. 10-14 got a deep rake with the sand pro, edge smoothing with the Acuform and pool noodle roller, & then a hand rake to finish it off. When the turf goes to sleep you gotta make something look nice.

Some people are disgusting. Just leaving toilet paper laying out on the course.

UPDATE: Gave her some water & she got up & walked around some. Went to go finish a job & when I got back she had gotten up & walked off, presumably to go home. Thanks for sharing.

We’ve never formally sent out any communication to membership. Just used word of mouth & demonstration to members who we’ve seen rake them as we’re on the course during play. Thought eventually after seeing it for several months, they’d realize the edges were smooth for a reason.

Supers/assistants who switched to an Australian style bunker raking method recently:. How long was the adjustment period for membership? We switched 4-5 months ago & the members still don’t understand the smooth edge & not raking through it or walking out high side #Turf #Bunkers.

Officially finished converting all of our bunkers at @BGCC1913 to the Australian Style raking method after leveling the sand out in each one. Excited to see how this helps the maintenance of the bunkers & our members’ playing experience!
